Membership/Connection Coach position is held by Debra Machen. Debra is currently on staff as Church Office Administrator.

The Membership/Connection Coach gives leadership and organization to ministries related to moving people from the crowd to the congregation.  The coach schedules and staffs all DV 101 classes and works with other leaders and lay people to integrate people into active membership at CCV.

DV101 is Commitment to Membership

This class introduces you to Community Church of the Valley so that you can make an informed decision whether or not to become a member. It covers the topics of Salvation, Baptism, The Lord's Supper, the Church Statement of Faith, and our church's strategy for reaching our community.

This class is taught by Pastor Mike McNeff.

Connecting Through Small Groups PDF Print E-mail

At CCV we meet needs through our small groups. If you feel lonely, depressed, stressed out or disconnected then small groups is the cure! That's why we call our small groups "Life Connections". We connect you with others going through the same stuff and then we connect with our community & help you get out to help others through our small groups. There are a variety of small groups meeting in Temecula, Menifee and Winchester. All ages are represented from young married couples to older married couples, couples with children and even singles can join in too! It's a great way to meet other people and expand relationships. There are a variety of Bible studies available depending on the group. Some groups do dinner, some just dessert or refreshments. We have groups that meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.

Here are some ways you can get involved:

Nursery: ages Birth-3 yrs. needs helpers!  You need to be 16 years or older and a background check is needed for those 18 & over.

The Treehouse Sunday School: age 4 yrs. through 5th grade needs Teachers (need to be a member of CCV, background check and some training sessions); Helpers for the teachers (16 & older, 18 & older need to have a background check).

theEdge Youth Church: 6th through 12th grade on Wednesday evenings. Join the Youth Team (need to be a CCV member and get a background check).

Others: Audio-Visual Team; Community Outreach Team; Helping Hands; Kids Hope USA; Missions Team; Music and Performing Arts Ministry; Operation Christmas Child; Prayer Ministry; Sunday Morning HUGGS Team (Hospitality: Refreshment set up & serving; Ushers, Greeters & Guest Services); Cub Scouts; Women’s Ministry; 55+ Group.
