Community Church of the Valley (CCV) is a merger of the church formerly known as Valley Christian Fellowship and the church formerly known as People's Church of the Valley. We have celebrated our fifth anniversary as CCV. CCV maintains a dual affiliation with the two conferences listed below.
Valley Christian Fellowship was founded in 1978 as a non-denominational church in Temecula, California. Two different groups of people who had recently moved into the area came together after they discovered that each was trying to do the same thing. In 1989 VCF affiliated with the North American Baptist Conference.
People's Church of the Valley was founded in 1987 in Temecula, California, and was affiliated with the Baptist General Conference.
